For those who are looking for gift ideas, and want to forego the gift certificate for something with a little more weight, then a new book is the way to go. Whether it’s a standalone book, or the start or end of a series, drop by and see what we’ve got!

We always have a selection of new, but discounted in price, Christian books from Living Books. The selection usually changes on a monthly basis, and is a variety of fiction and non-fiction.

A varied selection of children’s books is also available for a limited time. Usborne interactive children’s books that provide internet connections, miscellaneous children’s fiction and non-fiction make great gifts. Usborne are currently on sale for 30% off the sticker.

We also have a large collection of Non-Fiction Reference books for those looking for topics such as wilderness adventures, cottage country, fishing, bird watching, health-focused cooking, astronomy, antiques, and much more.

We currently lack an online computer data base of all of our books that a customer can access from their personal device. However, feel free to email us your requests at bearlyusedbooks@gmail.com. We can hold your book request or gift certificate for pick up or you can arrange to have it shipped to you.

Keep in mind that, since we are a very small business with a very small staff, our first priority is the customer who is physically standing in front of us in the store. We cannot ignore our physical customers for our virtual customers. So be prepared for our email response to be delayed. There are many times throughout the work day when we sit down to answer emails, but find ourselves called away by in-store queries.

We will get back to you, but it may take time to check the store for your request as our inventory is constantly changing. We cannot just push a button to tell you whether we have a book or not. The effort it would take to create a data base is currently beyond our financial means.  We are moving forward with our e-commerce abilities–please be patient with us! 🙂

If you have the time to actually come in and browse, you might find yourself astonished at our selection. We may not have the book you’re looking for, but we can almost guarantee that you will find something just as interesting. When one takes the time to stop and smell the roses, one is amazed by the the sheer variety that surrounds them. Books are like roses, why buy one when a dozen is better?
